Clean-up Continues After Severe Storms, Tornadoes

Several communities and businesses are regrouping after a series of destructive storms blasted through the middle part of the state Wednesday. Parts of Howard, Carroll and Montgomery counties received the worst damage, including the city of Kokomo where a state of emergency was declared. The National Weather Service confirmed an EF3 tornado, with winds exceeding 165 miles-per-hour, touched down in the city. Our partners at WTHR-TV in Indianapolis talked with Hoosiers affected by the severe weather. No deaths and only minor injuries were reported in Kokomo.
