The mayor of Frankfort says the city and Ivy Tech Community College have met an ambitious timeline in order to begin classes on-schedule today at the Clinton County city's new campus. Chris McBarnes calls the school a “game-changer” for the region and says it has exceeded initial enrollment goals. He tells Inside INdiana Business fundraising efforts have netted $1.5 million so far. He says around $750,000 remains to be raised.

Last week, the Clinton County Community Foundation kicked in a matching donation of $100,000.

The entire project is set to be complete in November.
