Clark Retires a Colt
Longtime Indianapolis Colts tight end Dallas Clark has announced his retirement. He played nine years with the team, including the 2006 Super Bowl Championship season. Clark re-signed with the Colts today to retire with the team that drafted him in 2003. He spent 2012 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and 2013 with the Baltimore Ravens.
During a news conference this afternoon at the team's complex, Colts Owner Jim Irsay called Clark “an incredible player, such a great man, such a playful person – a child at heart.”
Clark finished his career second among tight ends in franchise history in receptions and touchdowns.
He calls his opportunities with the Colts “a jackpot, a complete jackpot.”
