Citizens Energy Group has name Jonathan Ghio vice president of energy operations. He began his career with Pennsylvania-based UGI Utilities more than 25 years ago and transitioned to sister company UGI Energy Services in 2003.

Ghio’s background includes experience in gas supply optimization and hedging, engineering and operations. He holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University and a master of business administration from St. Joseph’s University.

Ghio succeeds Chris Braun, who retired as Vice President, Energy Operations on March 31.
