A Virginia-based software security firm is planning to double its work force in Bloomington. Cigital Inc. is looking to add around 30 employees in Monroe County to meet increased demand for consultants. April 7, 2015

DULLES, Vir. and BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Virginia-based software security firm Cigital today announced plans to hire an additional 30 employees in their Bloomington office, citing an increased demand for software security consultants.

“Organizations continue to place more emphasis on software security and are increasingly turning to Cigital to provide them the services they require,” said Brian Mizelle, Vice President of Operations, Cigital. “The Bloomington office is front and center in delivering these services, creating an exciting environment where information security professionals can apply and develop their skills in a high-demand, high-growth area.”

Cigital's Bloomington office currently employs around 30 software security employees and is planning to continue its hiring efforts until roughly 30 new positions have been filled. Cigital will be hiring Associate Consultants and Associate Security Architects for its Bloomington outpost.
