Christel House International has hired Morty Ballen to the newly-created position of senior vice president of academics. He most recently served as program director for Global Schools Forum and founder and CEO of Explore Schools in Brooklyn, New York. 

“Morty brings a strong history of starting, growing and supporting schools and school leaders both in the U.S. and globally,” says Christel House International President and CEO Bart Peterson.

Ballen holds a bachelor’s degree from Franklin & Marshall College and a master’s degree from Teachers College of Columbia University.
