Children’s Museum to Hold Construction Job Fair

The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis will hold a hiring event next week to fill construction jobs needed for the new Sports Legends Experience exhibit. The museum says job seekers can interview for the positions or get connected with training programs to fill future openings.

The job fair will be held October 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Children’s Museum. The museum is partnering with EmployIndy for the hiring event, in which project sub-contractors will be looking to fill the positions.

Ground was broken last month on the Sports Legends Experience. In an interview with Inside INdiana Business, Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett said the exhibit will "transform the community that surrounds it."

The project is expected to be complete by the spring of 2018.
