Indianapolis-based Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP says Indiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Loretta Rush will keynote its legislative conference. Next month's event will also feature Governor Mike Pence detailing his 2015 legislative agenda.

News Release

Indianapolis, Ind. — Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP is proud to announce that Chief Justice Loretta H. Rush will serve as the 2014 BGD Legislative Conference distinguished keynote speaker at the Indiana Convention Center on Dec. 4, 2014.

Chief Justice Rush was appointed to the Indiana Supreme Court by Governor Mitch Daniels in September 2012, and took the oath of office as Indiana's 108th Supreme Court Justice on Nov. 7, 2012. She became Chief Justice on Aug. 18, 2014.

“We are thrilled to have Chief Justice Loretta Rush as our distinguished keynote speaker,” said BGD Managing Partner Tobin McClamroch. “For the first time ever, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from both the sitting Governor and the Chief Justice at the same conference. We expect it to be a great unofficial start to the legislative session.”

As in years past, the 23rd annual conference will serve as a non-partisan venue that brings together Indiana decision makers, thought leaders, policy analysts and engaged public servants to discuss upcoming issues that are important to Hoosiers before the General Assembly convenes. This year’s sessions topics include the following:

• Education: The Future of K-12 Education in Indiana

• Energy, Utilities and Telecommunications: Indiana’s Energy Future

• The Legislative Leaders Look at 2015: What Issues to Expect on the Session Agenda

• The 2015-16 Budget Plenary Session: What to Expect in the Budget Session

• Staying Ahead of the Game: A Look at Casinos of the Future and How to Re-Invent the Customer Experience

• The Politics of 2014 and What it Means for 2015: How Will 2014 Politics and Policy Impact 2015?

In addition, Gov. Mike Pence will announce his 2015 legislative agenda. Registration for the Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP Legislative Conference, which is presented in conjunction with the INGroup, is available at www.thelegislativeconference.com.
