Chaucie’s Place Announces Name Change

Chaucie’s Place has announced a name change to the Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse and Suicide. The Carmel nonprofit specializing in the prevention of youth abuse and suicide will also debut a a new logo and updated website.

The website will provide material for educators and parents and offer resources for the public to be prepared if they suspect a child is being abused or considering suicide.

“Though our name has changed, our mission is the same: to educate and empower the community to end youth abuse and suicide,” Executive Director

Melissa Peregrin said in a news release. “After recent legislation was passed that requires programming such as ours across all Indiana schools, an enormous opportunity presented itself to broaden our footprint in order to positively impact more Hoosier children.”

Or is this a delayed economic response with a 2024 recession certain to come?...
