Charlestown to Break Ground on Renaissance Park

The city of Charlestown will Tuesday break ground on Renaissance Park. According to officials, construction on the first phase of the mixed-use project will mark the first new building in Charlestown in decades.
Once completed, the development will feature 40 apartments and retail space.
Renaissance Park is part of the city’s comprehensive renewal plan which was passed in 2016. It is slated for completion in summer of 2020.
Officials from arc Development, the city of Charlestown, the State of Indiana, Clark County and One Southern Indiana will attend the event.
The ceremony will take place at 760 Main Street in Charlestown at 10:00 a.m.
