Indianapolis-based Chapman Heating and Cooling is underway with a more than $1.3 million expansion. The company tells Inside INdiana Business it expects to grow its employee count from 70 to at least 135 over the next five years.
Chapman says it expects to double sales by 2021. Its investment includes about $150,000 in equipment and fixtures for a new training facility and expanded sheet metal production. The announcement comes on top of a $600,000 expansion in 2014.
The company was also recently named Bryant Dealer of the Year at the annual Bryant Dealer Rally. Chapman president Jeff Chapman says the award is an honor and "represents the strength and culmination of our partnership at all levels." The company was also named one of Bryant’s 15 Medal of Excellence winners.
