Chamber Unveils ‘Best Places to Work’ Rankings

The Indiana Chamber of Commerce has revealed the rankings for its 2020 Best Places to Work in Indiana program. More than 100 companies are included in the rankings, which are divided into four categories based on company size. The rankings, which were unveiled Monday during a virtual ceremony co-hosted by Inside INdiana Business Host Gerry Dick, were determined by in-depth employee evaluations, which measured the companies’ strengths and weaknesses.

The rankings were divided into Small Companies (15 to 74 U.S. employees), Medium Companies (75 to 249 employees), Large Companies (250 to 999 employees) and Major Companies (1,000 or more employees).

Companies that are not headquartered in Indiana were still eligible as long as they have at least 15 full-time employees in Indiana.

“Congratulations to these companies for providing the ‘best’ atmospheres and bringing out the ‘best’ in their employees,” said Kevin Brinegar, chief executive officer of the Indiana Chamber. “Their message is coming through loud and clear: It’s all about the employees. All should be proud of the perks, programs and opportunities they offer to emphasize a healthy work-life balance, community involvement and professional development.”

Some companies on the list have also achieved the Hall of Fame or Pinnacle designations. Hall of Fame companies have been named to the list at least 60% of the time in the program’s history, while Pinnacle companies have finished first in their category three or more times in a five-year period.
