News Release

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce today announced a Women Excel Bloomington (WEB) award will be given posthumously to Linda Simon at next week's award lunch. This is the sixth year for The Chamber's WEB Award and the first time an award has been given posthumously.

Simon, who lost her fight against cancer in September 2014, will be honored along with seven other local women selected based on their leadership, business acumen, entrepreneurship and community involvement. The WEB Awards Lunch will be held on Wednesday, May 20 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Indiana University's Henke Hall of Champions.
