CHA Consulting Inc., a diversified, full-service engineering and construction management firm, has added Brad Koartge and Christopher Connor to its Indianapolis area team. 

Koartge has been named an assistant engineer in its electrical technical group. He studied electrical, power and energy systems while attending the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, where he received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. His technical expertise includes induction motor and synchronous motor benchmark testing using MATLAB software, industrial plant design using PTW and mapping experience with ArcGIS.

Connor has been appointed assistant engineer providing highway design assistance. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Valparaiso University, where he actively participated in Engineers Without Borders activities. Connor has experience documenting and inspecting dozens of bridges and culverts, developing calculation sheets to aid in the structural design of box culverts and hog pits, and assessing the best course of action to improve spreadsheet designs.
