The Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana has promoted John Doherty to vice president of therapy services, sports medicine and occupational health. He previously served as regional director of outpatient rehabilitation and sports medicine at CFNI. In his new role, Doherty will oversee multiple departments throughout the healthcare system. He will be responsible for therapy services, audiology, concussion clinic, athletic training and occupational health at all of CFNI’s facilities, including Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Doherty joined CFNI in 2011 as coordinator and director of Community Hospital’s Concussion Clinic.
