CEO: Focus on Failure is ‘Critical’

John McDonald says entrepreneurship "is a very lonely thing," and sharing lessons learned from the often-uncomfortable topic of failure can help limit it in the future.
McDonald says the first two business models for the cloud technology company failed. He says, without those experiences, the company would not have evolved into the successful model it uses today.
Tech incubator Launch Fishers announced this morning that FailFest would return. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, December 9 at Tom Wood Aviation in Fishers. Other speakers this year include Salesforce Marketing Cloud Chief Executive Officer Scott McCorkle and KAR Auction Services CEO Jim Hallett.
