Centier Bank Surpasses $4B Mark

Merillville-based Centier Bank is celebrating a milestone. The bank says it has passed $4 billion in assets, marking what Chief Executive Officer Mike Schrage calls a "tremendous start in 2018."

Centier says its first quarter included the rollout of several technological advancements. The bank’s technical solutions department completed its move into a $1 million expansion of the Centier Corporate Centre in Merrillville. Centier also launched its personal finance software, Money Management, and is launching a free Wi-Fi program at 30 branch offices.

Centier says it is looking at additional expansion opportunities in 2018. The bank recently broke ground on its 61st Indiana branch location in Elkhart and is set to open its Fishers Crossing branch in July, followed by a Michigan City branch in early 2019.
