The Indiana market operations of CareSource, a national nonprofit leader in managed health care, has added five directors: Betsy Jerome (pictured), Caitlin Priest, Todd Lare, Jennifer Kasper (pictured) and Holly Ross.

Jerome is director of Care4U, Indiana. She will lead the Health Services in Indiana, while overseeing the deployment of the corporate clinical care management model in Indiana. Jerome previously served as director of clinical programs at MDwise Inc.

Priest is government relations director for Indiana. She will play a critical role in developing and executing legislative and advocacy strategies in Indiana. Priest most recently served as director of public policy for Covering Kids and Families of Indiana.

Lare is director of JobConnect for the Indiana market. He is tasked with leading the implementation of JobConnect, CareSource’s program to help members on their journey to sustainable employment. Lare has experience in nonprofits serving low-income families as well as in government relations and agencies. He previously served as executive director and CEO of the South Central Community Action Program in Bloomington.

Kasper is director of administration. She will lead the implementation of annual and interim contract amendments while continuing to provide oversight and direction to market network operations and health partner engagement. Since joining CareSource’s Indiana office as manager of health partnerships in 2015, Kasper has played an integral role in building the Indiana provider network for Marketplace and Medicare Advantage.

Ross is POWER Account manager. A member of CareSource finance team, Holly comes from MHS-Indiana and will oversee the HIP POWER Account. The “Personal Wellness and Responsibility” or POWER Account is where Healthy Indiana Plan members are given a $2,500 savings account to which they provide a small contribution. The POWER Account allows HIP members to take an active role in their well-being by making conscious choices regarding their health care.

Since January 2017, CareSource is administering health care services for those who enroll in the Healthy Indiana Plan and Hoosier Healthwise programs. CareSource continues to grow its employee base with a projected 100 new positions to support the new programs. Many of those positions have been filled and the office currently has more than 80 employees.
