Career Fairs Set For Central Indiana

The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Job and Career Fair at Indiana Grand Racing & Casino, while the Aviation Institute of Maintenance will host a career fair at its campus just south of Indianapolis International Airport.
The Shelby County event will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Trackside Clubhouse at the casino. The event is free and open to the public. Job seekers are being encouraged to prepare for on-site interviews and bring a copy of their resume, which the chamber will share with all participating companies.
More than 40 businesses will be attending the event looking to fill a variety of open positions. The companies include:

Meanwhile, the AIM career fair will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the campus, located at 7251 W. McCarty Street in Indy. It is free and open to students, graduates and members of the community.
“The opportunity to meet face-to-face with so many recruiters; without getting lost in the shuffle of online applications, is something that individuals serious about a career in aviation will definitely want to take advantage of,” says Andy Duncan, executive director of AIM’s Indianapolis campus. “At the same time, the career fair provides an avenue for us to promote the various training options available here at AIM.”
