CareEnroll Growing in La Porte, Fishers

La Porte-based CareEnroll LLC has detailed expansion plans. The company, which advises patients on health insurance enrollment and maintaining coverage, says it has already hired 80 on its way to a total of nearly 200 new employees over the next two-and-a-half years. CareEnroll is investing $3 million into its LaPorte County headquarters, which includes adding equipment, a new call center and space for professional development.

The company is looking to fill open positions in La Porte and its satellite office in Fishers. Chief Executive Officer Phil Wood, who founded CareEnroll in 2015, says "I believe the values of CareEnroll – accountability, excellence, stewardship – are the values of Hoosiers, and we continually nurture these values in our employees so that both they and the business can grow with integrity. As a third-generation Indiana business owner, it’s important to me that CareEnroll calls Indiana home."

CareEnroll has been offered up to $1.6 million in tax and training incentives through the Indiana Economic Development Corp. The new positions offered by the company include customer service representatives and auditors. You can connect to more about the expansion by clicking here. Our partners at The Times of Northwest Indiana reported in February that local officials agreed to provide training funding for the company growth plans.

Diabetes has exploded in the U.S. and Indiana. Today, there is a greater than one-in-three chance you know someone in Indiana who has been diagnosed with diabetes (Type I, Type II or gestational), is prediabetic or doesn’t know they have diabetes. I know this from experience – my mother was diabetic, and my wife has had Type I diabetes since she was 13 years old....
