EVANSVILLE, Ind. – D-Patrick Inc., the area’s foremost provider of automobile sales and service, will break ground on a new Ford/Lincoln facility located at the corner of New York and Walnut Street on Wednesday, June 3rd at 11:00 AM.
The new, ultra-modern D-Patrick Ford/Lincoln building will boast 41,000 square feet on the ground level and 5,150 square feet on the second level. It will feature a fabulous 8,000-square-foot showroom with 18-foot ceilings and full-height glass walls. There will also be 29 service bays in the 22,500-square-foot parts and service area. LED lighting will be used throughout the building and on the lot to minimize energy use.
“We’re very excited about this next chapter for D-Patrick!” said D-Patrick Ford/Lincoln President Michael O’Daniel, “The new facility will allow us to better-serve our valued customers, and will improve the overall D-Patrick Experience!”
The city’s plans to build The Indiana University School of Medicine in Downtown Evansville led to relocation for D-Patrick Downtown Ford/Lincoln. JT Kinkel and Jack R. Kinkel & Son Architects are coordinating the project. Every effort is being made to use local contractors and businesses in the construction of the new facility.
All interested parties and the media are invited to join D-Patrick for the groundbreaking ceremony. Participants and commentators will include representatives from D-Patrick, Mayor Lloyd Winnecke, and The Evansville Chamber of Commerce.
