An Ohio-based camera retailer is closing its only two Indiana stores. The Columbus Dispatch reports Cord Camera blames slower than anticipated holiday sales and the continuing popularity of digital options as the main reasons for the decision. The retailer is also closing locations in Cincinnati. It will keep two Columbus, Ohio stores open.
The chain was launched in 1954 and at one point had more than 30 locations in the two states.
Cord Camera is operated by Colfax Financial, a venture capital firm in Ohio.
