South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg has named Suzanna Fritzberg deputy chief of staff, effective immediately. Fritzberg joins the Mayor’s office after earning her Master’s degree at the University of Oxford, where she studied as a Rhodes Scholar. Prior to her time at Oxford, Fritzberg graduated Magna Cum Laude from Yale University. Her previous work experience includes time as an economic policy researcher for the Roosevelt Institute Think Tank, a fellowship director for the students for a New American Politics PAC and as an investigative legal intern in the Orleans Public Defenders Office in New Orleans. Fritzberg succeeds Brian Pawlowski.
