Businesses Tap Millennial Minds Through META

A University of Saint Francis project is connecting the business community with student interns to complete projects "with meaning" that companies may not have the time to take on. Previous projects through the Media Entrepreneurship Training in the Arts program involved rebranding, social media, marketing and video production.
The program started in 2013 with just a handful of students and this fall, it will grow to include 20 participants.
META is accepting proposals from businesses through August 10. Selected organizations for the upcoming semester will be notified by the end of next month and those chosen for the Spring term will know by December 4.
The university says the program is designed to "uniquely address the changing landscape of all industries and potentially foster the growth of small business."
USF is celebrating its 125th year.
