Business Expanding in Plymouth

Culver Tool and Engineering has announced a $3.7 million expansion with a new facility just north of its existing building in Plymouth. The spinal rod manufacturer plans to invest $2.2 million to renovate and expand the new building and also will invest $1.5 million to build and install machinery and equipment. The expansion will create 10 new jobs, to add to the 180 existing employees.
“This expansion is driven by an increase in market demand, and we are incredibly pleased to continue growing and expanding in Plymouth with the support of the City”, Vice President Mark Morris.
The company received a property tax abatement approved by the Plymouth Common Council on Monday, which was the second step in the process.
Another company, Indiana Wheel Corporation, announced their expansion in Plymouth earlier this month.
