Business and community leaders in Knox County will Thursday mark the opening of a new business incubator inside a historic venue that once hosted Broadway and Vaudeville shows. The Patheon Theatre in Vincennes has been transformed into a shared coworking, training and meeting space for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
The project has been several years in the making and has received millions of dollars in funding. Most recently, the city of Vincennes received a more than $730,000 grant from the Economic Development Administration for the project in September.
Earlier this year, the Purdue University Davidson School of Chemical Engineering and the Purdue Research Foundation announced a partnership with the Pantheon to help commercialize technology developed at the university with area startups and corporations.
Tune in this weekend to Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick to hear more about the Pantheon and what’s next after the grand opening.
