Subscribe NowThe Indiana Department of Homeland Security has appointed Craig Burgess state building commissioner. He is a registered architect and is licensed in Indiana and Illinois. Burgess’ more than 30-year career includes experience as an architect and construction plan reviewer for nearly all construction types and occupancy groups. He previously served as chief of the plan review section for fire and building safety, a division of the Indiana Department of Homeland Security. Burgess is a member of the American Institute of Architects and holds certifications from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the International Code Council. He is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-accredited design professional.
