Building Product Maker to Mark Plant Restart

Officials will celebrate the reopening of a manufacturing facility Wednesday in Terre Haute. The Allura USA plant, owned by a Texas-based parent, closed in 2014 and was restarted in January. The company employs 60 in the Wabash Valley.
Allura USA makes fiber cement building products for new homes including siding, trim, soffit and shakes. The plant covers 438,000 square-feet and supplies homebuilders throughout the region and the country.
Dignitaries at the ceremony Wednesday include company officials and Terre Haute Mayor Duke Bennett.
