The Ball State University Board of Trustees has approved a pay increase for President Jo Ann Gora. The move will bump her base salary to nearly $450,000. It represents a 3.5 percent increase.

Last year, Gora signed an extension through 2017, but turned down a raise.

In 2011, the board agreed to increase her pay by 10 percent.
