Bristol RV Manufacturer Acquired

Wisconsin-based REV Group Inc. has acquired Bristol-based Renegade RV. Financial details were not disclosed, however REV says Renegade’s manufacturing operations and employees will remain in the Elkhart County town.
Renegade, which manufactures recreational vehicles, heavy-duty trailers and specialty vehicles, employs about 175 workers at its 200,000 square-foot Bristol facility. REV says Renegade’s independent dealer network will continue to promote and sell Renegade RV products throughout the country.
"We are extremely excited to have Renegade RV join our team at REV Group, and I look forward to welcoming their talented group of employees," stated Tim Sullivan, chief executive officer of REV. "Renegade RV brings a tremendous reputation and a world-class product portfolio that is highly complementary to our line of great American-made motorhomes. We believe Renegade will quickly contribute strategic value to REV’s mission of better serving customer and dealer needs throughout the country."
Renegade will become part of the REV Recreation Group as part of the deal. Renegade President Mike Lanciotti says the deal will "provide us with the financial, engineering, and manufacturing resources we need to embark on the next phase of growth for our company."
