Brewery Plans to Leave Downtown New Albany

The New Albanian Brewing Co. is leaving downtown New Albany. The location’s last day of operation will be May 25. 

Representatives from the company said they’re “winding down our brewing schedule over the next couple months and bowing out of distribution.”

The brewery will search for a prospective brewery buyer interested in taking over the 15 Barrel DME system on Bank Street.

“We will continue brewing our favorite brands and delve deeper into some new brews too with Ben Minton continuing on as Brewer at NABC, that will be available for in house consumption for those 21 and over. Our decision to pull out of the market will allow us to laser focus on making The New Albanian Brewing Co. Pizzeria & Pub location better thanever,” said the company in a statement.
