It takes a village to build a brewery or something like that it seems. We are very excited to be building a new production brewery from the ground up. After several months of work we received final zoning approval on August 6th. We will now start to see some activity at the site and the official ground breaking is 10 am on Friday, August 22nd.

Our plans include a 10,000 sq. ft. production brewery with a tap room and outside seating on the 2.0-acre site. Once we fill out the space we will have increased our production capacity by about 4x to about 12,000 bbls per year which means a lot more flexibility for draft and canned beers. We will not be making anywhere near that capacity in the near future as we want to grow responsibly by maintaining our high standards of quality. If we out grow the new space in a few years there is room to more than double the phase one plans in the future.

We hope to be moving in toward the end of the year or early 2015 and we will first focus on getting the production brewery up and running since we will be moving our existing equipment as well as adding new equipment. The tap room will be opening later after we have the brewery humming so we can increase production. As always we will do our best to keep everyone informed.
