The software provider plans to pump $11.5 million into expanding its operations at the Northwest Technology Park. MOBI says it has increased its work force five times over the last six years. During an interview in May on Inside INdiana Business Television, Chief Executive Officer Scott Kraege and President Mitch Black discussed the company’s growth.
The company currently employs more than 300 and has some 175 customers using its managed mobility technology.
The investment will nearly double the company’s Boone County footprint, with plans calling for a more than 50,000 square-foot expansion of its current space. Kraege says "we continue to be energized by the growth and market opportunities ahead of us. Our software and services have uniquely served our customers since our inception. Each of our over 300 employees have contributed to our growth, and we’re eager to add others to our formula of success over the coming years."
MOBI has been offered a total of more than $3 million in conditional tax incentives and training grants from the Indiana Economic Development Corp. Both Boone County and the town of Zionsville have also approved their own incentive packages.
The company was founded in 2009 and says it added more than 90 new workers last year as demand for its software has risen along with revenue. MOBI received the Company Culture of the Year honors at the 2016 TechPoint MIRA Awards.
