Bradley Company Acquires Michigan Firm

A commercial real estate firm with offices in Indiana and Michigan has acquired Michigan-based X Ventures. Bradley Co. says the commercial operations of X Ventures will be integrated into its existing presence in west Michigan, though financial details of the acquisition are not being disclosed.
Bradley Company says the deal will increase both companies’ service capabilities and professional expertise in the local market. X Ventures was founded in 2013 by President Chip Bowling. His father, Bill Bowling, joined the firm as lead consultant and Bradley Company says the senior Bowling played a "significant role" in the acquisition.
"From early on discussions with Chip and Bill Bowling, our team at Bradley Company felt there was a strong culture and character fit with X Ventures," said Brad Toothaker, chief executive officer of Bradley Co. "We are dedicated to continuing to invest in the state of Michigan, and the additional bandwidth we will gain from the X Ventures team will provide for additional growth in the market."
Bradley Company employs 250 people among eight regional offices, including locations in Elkhart, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Merrillville, South Bend, and Warsaw. The company says 10 licensed brokers from X Ventures will join the Bradley team.
As a result of the acquisition, X Ventures will be completely rebranded under the Bradley Company banner.
