News Release

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (January 5, 2015) – Bradley Company is pleased to name Mark Neal, former South Bend Deputy Mayor, as our new Chief Operating Officer, a role he assumes today, January 5th, 2015.

In his new role, Neal will help evaluate and lead Bradley Company's business and financial operations and the over-all company strategy. He will ensure the business is well positioned to excel in today's dynamic commercial real estate arena.

“Mark Neal is a leader who brings so much to Bradley Company in terms of experience, where as Deputy Mayor, he skillfully managed South Bend, financially and operationally, while Mayor Pete Buttigieg served in Afghanistan,” said Brad Toothaker, CEO of Bradley Company. “We are in a period of extreme growth, so we were drawn to Neal's extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, which will be a tremendous asset as we continue to expand into additional Midwest markets.”

“I've loved serving South Bend. It was an amazing opportunity to lead South Bend in the mayor's absence,” Mark Neal says. “And now, I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to contributing to the quality of life in our region through Bradley Company. It's very exciting to be part of a leading organization that seeks to be the premiere commercial real estate company in the Midwest.”

Neal has led a distinguished career in the public and private sectors. He has served as the President of his own consulting firm KRS Financial, City Controller for the City of South Bend and the Chief Financial Officer of Press Ganey Associates. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors for both the YMCA of Michiana, Inc. and the Fischoff National Chamber Music Association.

“Mark is a thoughtful and energetic leader who cares deeply about South Bend,” says South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg. “Our community will always be grateful to him for his highly successful service as City Controller and as Deputy Mayor. His business expertise, sense of teamwork, and passion will make him very effective at Bradley Company.”

Bradley Company is the largest Commercial Real Estate Provider in Northern Indiana and West Michigan with seven regional offices. In the last two years, Bradley Company has opened offices in three markets.
