Indianapolis-based Braden Business Systems has announced a new data center presence in downtown Indianapolis. The technology services company is now an operating partner at the 800 Oliver Street Data Center.

Braden says the move will boost its implementation and scalability of its technology solutions, including infrastructure as a service and managed IT services such as backup, storage, disaster recovery, compliance and security. Erik Braden, partner at Braden Business Systems, says the move will allow the company to better service its more than 7,000 customers.

"This investment proves that our customers are demanding more from our team," said Braden. "We are investing heavily to provide our customers with the best in class technology solutions to meet their needs. We are focused on maximizing our customers’ experience and in doing so, building tremendous value for our customers, employees and community."

Braden did not disclose financial details but says the investment will likely lead to an increase in customers and employees. The announcement comes nearly two weeks after Braden acquired Chicago-based office technology provider Interact Business Products.

The company is also in the midst of construction on its new $5.6 million headquarters in Fishers.
