Warsaw-based Bowen Health, billed as Indiana’s largest community mental health provider, has made another regional executive director appointment.
The organization has named Lori Augustus executive director for its southeast region, which covers Huntington and Wabash, as well as community-based operations in 12 additional counties.
Augustus most recently served as vice president of physician services for Fort Wayne-based Lutheran Health Physicians, which Bowen Health Chief Operating Officer Shannon Hannon said makes her “uniquely qualified for the executive director role.”
Augustus said in a news release that she wanted to be a part of what is happening at Bowen Health.
“Because of the value placed on every person who enters the doors, lives are being changed and enhanced. To be a part of a team dedicated to helping and serving others is exciting, and I am grateful for the opportunity.”
Bowen Health is a nonprofit community health system that provides a variety of health care services, including primary care, mental health care, and addiction recovery treatment, to underserved individuals.
Earlier this month, the organization named three additional executive directors for its northeast and northwest regions, as well as Allen County.
