Indiana House Speaker Brian Bosma (R-88) has announced the House standing committee chairmanships and leadership positions for the 121st General Assembly. Eight committee chairmanships changed, along with six leadership changes due to several House Republicans retiring.
State Rep. Tim Brown (R-41) will again chair Ways and Means, and State Rep. Todd Huston (R-37) has been appointed to serve as co-chair while Brown continues to recover from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
“With a tough budget session ahead, we wanted to make sure Representative Brown has the support he needs and that’s why Representative Huston will join him as a co-chair of this critical committee," said Bosma. "Todd is a well-respected member of our caucus and has a great command of the issues."
House lawmakers will convene on January 3 for the first day of the legislative session. You can view the entire list of appointments by clicking here.
