Bose Law, Public Affairs Group Hires Victor Smith

Outgoing Indiana Secretary of Commerce Victor Smith has a new job in the private sector. Smith will join Indianapolis-based Bose Public Affairs Group LLC group as a partner and parent firm Bose McKinney & Evans LLP as a partner in the Business and Governmental Services groups. Smith became secretary of commerce when Governor Mike Pence took office in 2013.
During Smith’s time at the helm of the state’s economic development efforts, Indiana tallied nearly 1,100 business expansions and locations, representing some $15.5 billion in investment and over 93,000 jobs.

The Muncie native previously served as chief executive officer of CDS Engineering, a manufacturing company with a presence in the United States, United Kingdom and Asia. He has 17 years of experience in operations, sales and executive roles.
