A Florida-based meat processor is planning to create 200 jobs in New Castle by 2018. The Courier-Times reports Boar's Head Brand plans to invest $80 million into a new Henry County operation. New Castle/Henry County Economic Development Corp. President Corey Murphy says the company has been showing strong interest in city since before June.

He tells the publication New Castle beat out more than 15 cities vying for the facility.

The company was focused on a location along I-70 between Terre Haute and Columbus, Ohio.
