Board of Animal Health Names Directors
The Indiana State Board of Animal Health has promoted: Patrick Hash, to director of the dairy division and Nathan Campbell, to deputy director of the dairy division.
Hash joined the division in 2012, he left in 2014 to work for the Michigan Department of Agriculture as pasteurization specialist. He returned to Indiana earlier this year and previously served as deputy director.
Campbell joined in 2008, he left in 2011 to work for Dean Foods as a quality assurance manager. He returned to BOAH in 2012 and most recently served as chief milk rating officer.
Indiana’s Dairy Division has been part of the Indiana State Board of Animal Health since 1995. Staff members inspect dairy farms, processing plants and milk haulers for sanitation to ensure safe, wholesome products are produced. Indiana is among the fastest growing dairy-producing states, with an annual production of more than 3.8 billion pounds of milk.
