Bloomington Presents First Freedom of The City Award
Bloomington Mayor John Hamilton has awarded the city’s first Freedom of the City Award to community leader Gayle Cook. She co-founded Cook Inc. in 1963 with her late husband, Bill. Cook was honored for her decades of work in helping to restore community history along with contributing to the area economy. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in Fine Arts from Indiana University.
