Shatoyia Moss has been promoted to safe and civil city director in the city of Bloomington Community and Family Resources Department. She previously worked as a part-time program management specialist in CFRD, before being named to her current position. Moss also previously served as director of Indiana Kids, a mentoring and tutoring program at Indiana University, and events and athletic director of Girls Inc.

A 2013 graduate of Indiana University she holds a B.S. in General Studies with minors in Gender Studies, Human Sexuality and Human Development & Family Studies. Moss is one of two vice presidents, webmaster and chair of youth initiatives for the Bloomington Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

Moss succeeds Rafi Hasan, who left the position in August 2017 when he accepted the position of diversity and inclusion coordinator for Monroe County Community School Corp.
