The city of Bloomington has named Theresa (Terri) Porter director of planning and transportation. She was the original executive director of the Bloomington Enterprise Association and went on to serve as chief operating officer of a multi-state area for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Most recently, Porter served as a senior advisor in HUD’s Indianapolis field office. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University and holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is president-elect of the American Society for Public Administration, Indiana Chapter, a Bloomington Housing Authority commissioner, and a member of the Monroe County Economic Development Commission.
