Bloomington Mayor John Hamilton has appointed Beth Cate corporation counsel for the city of Bloomington. She has served in various roles at Indiana University since 1998, including as associate general counsel and as a clinical associate professor at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Cate holds a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University and JD from Harvard Law School.
