Investigators are trying to piece together what sparked a massive fire that engulfed a Fort Wayne industrial facility. Our partners at WPTA 21Alive report the River City Complex blaze took around nine hours to extinguish and could affect approximately one dozen businesses. Officials shut off electricity in surrounding neighborhoods and closed a nearby railroad for hours as a precaution.

Some of the warehouses include cars, fireworks, pool chemicals and home-building materials.

No injuries have been reported at this point.

Fire officials tell 21Alive the cause and extent of damage will be determined after a lengthy investigation.
