BKD’s Indianapolis office has promoted Michael Fortman to senior manager. He is a member of the firm’s National Financial Services Group and has more than seven years of external and internal audit consulting experience. Fortman has worked with public and closely held financial institutions ranging in size from $50 million to $3 billion in total assets. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Indiana CPA Society. Fortman serves as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana and sits on the Boy Scouts of America, Crossroads of America Council’s finance committee. He is a graduate with distinction of Purdue University with a B.S. degree in accounting and a certificate of advanced accountancy.
