Indianapolis-based BKD CPAs & Advisors has promoted Tom Watson to chief executive officer, effective June 1, 2021. He currently serves as south region managing partner for the firm’s Dallas-Fort Worth office. Prior to that Watson served as managing partner.

Watson will succeed Ted Dickman, who is retiring in May of 2021. Dickman will continue handling all CEO responsibilities while involving Watson in key decisions through the end of 2020.
