BioCrossroads Names Venture Competition Winner

Phytoption is based at the Purdue Research Park in West Lafayette.

Purdue Research Park-based Phytoption LLC has won the 2015 BioCrossroads New Venture Competition. The company turns insoluble ingredients into soluble solutions for food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical uses.

Phytoption was recognized during the 2015 Indiana Life Sciences Summit in Indianapolis. The company receives a $25,000 cash prize and access to BioCrossroads’ Seed Fund II resources.

The second-place company was Arrhythmotech, which has developed new devices and services to be used in the detection and analysis of sympathetic nerve activity.

Third place went to Animated Dynamics, which provides clinical laboratory services for personalized cancer therapy selection.
