BioCrossroads has announced three new members have joined its board of directors. The additions of Aaron Schacht, J.J. Spegele and Ram Yeleti now give the board 23 members.

“Aaron, JJ and Ram all represent different sectors within our life sciences community – agbiosciences, clinical research and manufacturing, and healthcare. Their leadership and expertise will provide valuable insight as BioCrossroads continues to advance the strength and opportunities of collaborative and educational initiatives across Indiana’s life sciences and healthcare sectors,” said Darren Carroll, chairman of the BioCrossroads Board of Directors.

Schacht leads research & development, regulatory affairs and business development at Elanco Animal Health. He is also chair of the board for AgriNovus.

Spegele has held leadership roles for clinical research organizations and also was vice president of global business transformation at Quintiles and is currently pursuing a PhD at IU.

Yeleti is a clinical leader at Community Health Network’s eight hospitals and previously served as president of Community Physician Network and president of Community Heart and Vascular.
